Both stages of the Agni-II have a solid propulsion system, which allows the missile to be mobile and flexible. Assuming that Agni-II is to be deployed in India’s north-eastern region and even given a 2,000+ km range, Agni-II can still not reach vast parts of China - including Beijing, which is over 3000 km away.
